Who we are
This policy explains how the operator of AskThisAI ("AskThisAI", "we") handles personal data when you visit askthisai.net, contact us, or work with us as a client or advertiser. What happens to messages you send to the @askthisai assistant on Instagram is explained in the Assistant privacy notice.

Information we collect
- Contact requests: your name, email address, company, website, Instagram account, the details you choose to add (such as message volume, target markets or budget range) and your message.
- With each contact request, your IP address and browser identifier, so we can detect abuse of the form. To limit repeated submissions, we also keep a one-way hash of your IP address that cannot be turned back into the address.
- Records of working together: proposals, contracts, payment records, campaign material and our correspondence.
- Server logs kept by our hosting provider to deliver the website, such as IP address, requested page and time.
The website uses no analytics, advertising pixels or cookies. See the Cookie policy.
The assistant demos on this website
Messages, Reels and Profile on this website let you try our assistant before you work with us. When you use them:
- What you write, together with the short conversation shown on the page, is sent to our assistant so it can reply. The conversation is kept only in your browser tab (session storage) and disappears when you close the tab. We do not store it on our servers.
- A profile screenshot you upload is made smaller in your browser, sent to our assistant for one review and deleted from our server as soon as it has been read. The review is shown to you and is not stored.
- To apply the daily limits, the website turns your IP address into a keyed one-way code before anything reaches the assistant. The assistant counts replies against that code in memory for the current day; the count is not written to a database.
- To write replies and reviews, the assistant uses the AI providers listed in the Assistant privacy notice, which process the text or image on our behalf.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in letting visitors try the product, and your request when you send a message or upload a screenshot. Apart from the day's reply count, which resets every day, nothing from the demos is kept.
Please do not share personal data about yourself or anyone else in these demos. Replies are generated by AI and can be wrong.

Who receives it
- Our hosting provider, Vercel Inc., which serves the website and keeps its logs.
- The database provider that stores contact requests.
- Our email provider, when we correspond with you.
- Accountants, lawyers or public authorities, where the law requires it or to protect our rights.
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with anyone for their own advertising.
International transfers
Some of our providers process data outside Türkiye and the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where the law requires it, these transfers rely on the safeguards it provides, such as standard contractual clauses, or on your explicit consent.

Your rights
Depending on the law that applies to you, including KVKK in Türkiye and the GDPR in the European Union and the United Kingdom, you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, to receive a copy of it, and to withdraw consent at any time. Write to support@askthisai.net. We reply within 30 days.
You can also complain to a data protection authority. In Türkiye this is the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK). Information required by Turkish law is in the KVKK information notice.
Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections, and contact requests can only be read in a password-protected area. No system is completely secure; if a breach affects your data, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
Children
This website and our services are meant for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our practices change. The effective date above shows the current version.
